WARRANTY POLICY

1. General Warranty Disclaimer (Sold as Seen) At Az-Zaman Household, we operate on a strict “Inspect and Accept” basis. We do not offer a standard store warranty on general merchandise once the item has been accepted at the point of delivery.

  • Inspection Period: The “warranty” period is effectively limited to the time of delivery. You must inspect the product for any physical damage, missing parts, or defects while the delivery agent is present.

  • Acceptance: By accepting the item and allowing the delivery agent to leave, you acknowledge that the product was received in good working condition. No claims for scratches, dents, or physical damage will be entertained after this point.

 

2. Manufacturer Warranty (Electronic & Brand Items) For specific branded items (e.g., electronics, appliances, or power tools) that come with an official manufacturer’s warranty card:

  • Coverage: The warranty is provided directly by the manufacturer (e.g., Hisense), not by Az-Zaman Household.

  • Process: If a technical fault occurs that is covered under the manufacturer’s terms, you must contact the manufacturer’s authorized service center directly using the details provided on the warranty card.

  • Our Role: Az-Zaman Household serves as the retailer. We do not perform repairs, nor do we process warranty claims internally. We can, however, assist by providing contact information for the relevant service centers.

 

3. Exclusions (What is Not Covered) Even where a manufacturer’s warranty might apply, the following are strictly excluded:

  • Physical Damage: Cracks, dents, or breakage occurring after delivery.

  • Power Surges: Damage caused by electrical fluctuations or power cuts.

  • Improper Assembly: Damage resulting from assembly or installation performed by the customer, a third-party technician, or even a technician recommended by us.

  • Misuse: Damage caused by using the product in a manner not intended by the manufacturer.

 

4. Assembly and Installation Liability As stated in our Terms and Conditions, Az-Zaman Household is not liable for any product failure or damage that occurs during or after assembly. If you choose to use our assembly assistance (available for select items) or a third-party technician, any issues arising from that service must be resolved directly with the technician.
